I am an engraving artist as well as a painter based in Kanagawa, near Tokyo, Japan.
My main works are engraving, drawing, and object, and for me these three different types of creation are closely related to each other. I create for sensing my internal universe that no one and even myself has never seen, and I would be grateful to share this with you.
There are obscure images coming to my mind all the time as sort of incomplete messages. Those delusions and illusions form my artworks as metaphors through various ways of expressing the unknown images. For me the different materials and tools (copper plate, burin, ink, papers…) are given to go between reality and my internal fantasy.
I believe in living images not in definitive fixed images.
